What is an affiliate link?

An affiliate link is a tracked URL that tells a company you arrived from ClipVerdict. If you make a purchase after clicking that link, we receive a commission — typically a percentage of the sale or a flat fee per sign-up. You pay exactly the same price you would going directly to the company's website.

FTC disclosure

In accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255), ClipVerdict discloses that we have financial relationships with some of the companies and products reviewed on this site. These relationships exist through affiliate programs and may result in compensation when you click a link and take a qualifying action such as making a purchase or signing up for a free trial.

How you can identify affiliate links

Affiliate links on ClipVerdict are marked with rel="nofollow sponsored" in the HTML as required by Google's guidelines. In the visible content of review pages, you will find a note near call-to-action buttons stating "Affiliate link — we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you."

Promo code pages and pricing pages may contain affiliate links throughout. If a page is primarily designed to direct traffic to a product, it will carry a disclosure at the top of the page.

How affiliate relationships affect our content

They don't — or at least, we work hard to make sure they don't. Our editorial policy is as follows:

• We score and rank tools based on testing, research, and user feedback — not on commission rates.
• We will recommend a free tool over a paid one if the free tool genuinely serves the reader better.
• We will publish negative findings about a tool we have an affiliate relationship with.
• We do not accept payment from companies in exchange for positive reviews or higher scores.
• Affiliate programs we are rejected from do not receive artificially lower scores as a result.

Our long-term reputation depends on giving readers honest, accurate information. A reader who buys a bad product on our recommendation is a reader we've lost. That's a worse outcome for us than not earning a commission.

Software and AI tool pricing changes frequently. We aim to keep pricing information current but cannot guarantee that figures shown on ClipVerdict match the live pricing at any given moment. Always verify the current price directly on the vendor's website before purchasing.
