What we do

ClipVerdict publishes independent reviews, comparisons, and ranked guides covering video editing software and AI video creation tools. Our goal is simple: give creators the honest information they need to choose the right tool without wasting money on the wrong one.

We cover everything from free editors like DaVinci Resolve and iMovie through to professional subscriptions like Adobe Premiere Pro, and across the growing range of AI video tools including Revid AI, HeyGen, Vsub.io, and Synthesia.

Our editorial standards

Every tool we review is personally tested — not just read about or demoed. Our scores reflect our editorial judgment based on real use, not press releases or paid briefings.

Companies cannot pay to improve their scores or buy positive coverage. We publish negative findings even about tools we have affiliate relationships with. Our long-term reputation depends on giving readers accurate, honest information — a reader who buys the wrong tool on our recommendation is a reader we have lost.
